Celebrating Business Excellence at the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards 2024

The Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards 2024 was a night to remember, celebrating the achievements and successes of businesses in North and North East Lincolnshire. The event, held at the Grimsby Auditorium, brought together the region’s business community for an evening of recognition, inspiration, and charity support.

Pepperells Solicitors proudly presented the Innovation Award to winners SC4 (UK) LTD, with Karen Eddy and Francesca Eddy accepting the accolade. The evening highlighted the outstanding contributions of local businesses and individuals across various categories.

Clare Williams, Lincolnshire Development Manager who presented the Pepperells Solicitors Innovation Award, remarked on the significance of this category, stating, “Winning the Innovation Award this year is especially commendable given the turbulent times businesses have faced recently. The determination to innovate despite market challenges truly sets our winners apart and exemplifies the resilience and creativity within our business community.”

In addition to the regular awards, two special awards were presented to Mike Parker and David Laister for their outstanding contributions to the local community.

The ceremony, hosted by the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce, featured Richard Askam as the compere and was meticulously organised by Anne Tate. Chamber President Kirk Akdemir, along with other distinguished guests, added to the evening’s prestige.

In addition to celebrating business excellence, the event supported two important local charities: St Andrew’s Hospice Grimsby and Lindsey Lodge Hospice.

Attendees enjoyed a captivating West End performance of The Lion King, which included talented local college students from The Grimsby Institute. Culinary delights were provided by Healing Manor Hotel, Grimsby, and Steven Bennett, The Lincolnshire Chef.
